Ali
Zaid Al Quraishi & Brothers was founded
in 1958, and has grown to become one of the
leading commercial groups in Saudi Arabia.
It
has long-established associations with a number
of major corporations in the U.S., Europe and
Japan, and distributes their world-recognized
brands throughout
the Kingdom.
During
the 1960's, AZAQ took Craven "A" cigarettes
to a dominant sales position, and expansion into
leisure products quickly followed. During the
boom period of the 1970's, the AZAQ Group, like
most commercial enterprises
in the Kingdom, experienced rapid growth.

Later, as the growth rate of the Saudi economy slowed
down, the group recognized the trend early and successfully
controlled its overheads, with the result that it remained
in excellent financial condition despite the changes
in the economy.
It
is common to describe enterprises like the AZAQ Group
as "trading companies". This phrase is no
longer an adequate description of the AZAQ Group, if
indeed it ever was. We are intensely committed to the
marketing concept.
Our primary role is to identify and satisfy customer
needs, both at the industrial, trade and consumer levels.
The Group today is firmly based on the marketing and
distribution field, representing top brand names in
leisure goods, cigarettes, household products, watches,
office furniture, telecommunications, electronics, electrical
equipment and motor vehicles.
It
is also involved in manufacturing of electrical products
and transformers and a joint venture with Taylor Woodwork
in the construction industry.
Ali
Zaid Al Quraishi & Brothers has an enviable reputation
for its coverage of the Saudi Market, its financial
strength, and its commercial integrity. It has a tight-knit,
skilled management team at the Group headquarters level,
and professional management and marketing organization
within each division. Our aim is to provide the highest
standards of service to principals and customers alike.
We are proud of the contributions that the AZAQ Group
has made to the development of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia.
