Yasser Alhassan

Yasser Alhassan joined Ali Zaid Al Quraishi & Brothers as Head of Treasury and Financial Planning, he has a strong banking and finance background. Yasser is an MBA holder from Alliance Manchester Business School, UK in 2014. In addition, he completed his Chartered Accountancy program from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA) in 2008 and received Associate membership in 2011 and a Fellowship membership in 2019.

Yasser started his career in 2005 by joining the First Leasing Bank B.S.C., Bahrain (Subsidiary of Ithmaar Bank Group) for 7 years and assisted the Finance Director in setting up the Finance and IT departments. The bank was incorporated in August 2004 and was regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain.

In 2011, Yasser joined Ahli United Bank B.S.C. (AUB), for 8 years as a Business Finance Controller. He looked after the financial affairs of Group’s Private Banking Business Unit and several subsidiary Banks.

Yasser’s strong expertise and knowledge led him to join AZAQ in 2019 as the Head of Treasury and Financial Planning to support enhancement of the AZAQ Group treasury and financial planning functions.
